Extinction Will Be A Loss..

Tiger (Panthera Tigris) also known as Apex Predator. The tiger plays an important role in maintaining the balance in its environment, tigers keep the population of the herbivorous in control. Without the tiger the population of the herbivores would increase, resulting in overgrazing which in turn will imbalance the jungle ecosystem, and without the tigers jungles are also under threat.

The most recent audit by the Indian Government's National Tiger Conservation Authority has estimated the number at just 1,411 wild tigers left in India.

So, why are they becoming the endangered and threatened species? Who is responsible for the decline? Why nobody is taking action against the culprits for this offence? Are they going to extinct too in the near future as the 3 subspecies The Bali Tiger, the Caspian Tiger and the Javan Tiger?

The ROAR of the tigers which was heard loud earlier in the jungle is now getting low as the years are passing, due to human activities such as hunting, poaching, clearing the forest for agricultural land.

The existence of this species being the national animal of our country (India) is struggling to survive in middle of the human race, if this continues to dwindle they might be nowhere to be seen in the near future.

Recently a very bold initiative “Save our Tigers” project has been put forward by Aircel in partnership with Dentsu Communications and WWF India in putting an effort to save the tigers. So, we all must support this noble initiative, let’s be a part of it in helping our national animal “The Tiger” from extinction.

Let’s Join The ROAR.
