Floral Breeze..

I am a kind word uttered and repeated

By the voice of Nature;
I am a star fallen from the
Blue tent upon the green carpet.
I am the daughter of the elements
With whom Winter conceived;
To whom Spring gave birth; I was
Reared in the lap of Summer and I
Slept in the bed of Autumn.


At dawn I unite with the breeze
To announce the coming of light;
At eventide I join the birds
In bidding the light farewell.


The plains are decorated with
My beautiful colors, and the air
Is scented with my fragrance.


As I embrace Slumber the eyes of
Night watch over me, and as I
Awaken I stare at the sun, which is
The only eye of the day.


I drink dew for wine, and hearken to
The voices of the birds, and dance
To the rhythmic swaying of the grass.


I am the lover's gift; I am the wedding wreath;

Temples in the midst

These are the temples in the midst of BGR Township, these temples are maintained by the Madir Committee of BGR. BGR township is located in Dhaligaon, falls in Chirang District. I did some photo shoot there, and the pictures are below:-

Way To Two Hundred..

My journey started from Guwahati with my mom to Dhaligaon it falls in Chirang district earlier it was in Bongaigaon district via Goalpara, it is near about 200Kms and took 4.5 hours (by road) to reach there. On the way i took some pictures, couldn't take more as i was driving the car, but managed to take a few, and those are here clipped in my blog, i live in a place where there are very less trees to be seen, wherever i see there's only the buildings rising, but when i traveled through Goalpara, the view was just speechless tall trees, greenery everywhere and the road was just smooth like makkhan, i was visiting that place after a long time, so my dear all the viewers/bloggers i hope you all will like it. Turn Off the lights today, or it will be gone forever one day!!

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million homes and businesses turned their lights off for one hour to make their stand against climate change. Only a year later and Earth Hour had become a global sustainability movement with more than 50 million people across 35 countries participating. Global landmarks such as the, Sydney Harbour Bridge, The CN Tower in Toronto, The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and Rome’s Colosseum, all stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour.

In March 2009, India alongwith hundreds of millions of people took part in the third Earth Hour. Over 4000 cities in 88 countries officially switched off to pledge their support for the planet, making Earth Hour 2009 the world’s largest global climate change initiative.

Earth Hour 2010 takes place on Saturday 27 March at 8.30pm- 9:30pm and is a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community throughout the world. It is a call to stand up, to take responsibility, to get involved and lead the way towards a sustainable future. Iconic buildings and landmarks from India to Australia to America will stand in darkness. People across the world from all walks of life will turn off their lights and join together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet.

Monkey's on outing!!

It was nearly 8 in the morning, when i took this pictures from my window, these monkeys looked like the were very hungry searching for food everywhere, and luckily they got the banana treat as you can see how the monkey is sitting on the top of the banana heap and saying this one's mine :-) , they spent nearly half an hour and left to some other place, and the time when they were leaving one of them looked at me and posed as if he's saying yeah!! yeah!! take a picture of me for your bloG..

Rain showers left everything green..

Today the day was bit cloudy since morning, and was windy also..and suddenly it started raining from then it left everything so green i couldn't tell you, few days back these leaves were so dull it was covered with dust they lost there colors but after the rain showered today it was like emitting its green color and i took my cam and took few shots from the window..i hope you like it.

A little boy from a small town..

I used to upload mainly of nature photography, different places, peoples, but today i thought why not something different so i took this small showpiece and took different photographs used as a story board..where this small boy is returning home (suppose) with an expression as if he is tired holding his small basket in his hand, and slowly slowly he is walking towards his home, today i have tried little bit of light reflectors and i manually set the exposure settings in my cam..and i was amazed to see this pictures which were really so colorful and it felt me as if it has got life, sometimes when we shoot photographs some pictures really tell a story it may be of a very short time..but it feels really nice when you can actually put life in your photographs whatever you take..

Victory walk

It's a very small creature but i don't know its name, but this small creature has a unique symbol of victory and i feel myself very lucky that i got a chance to capture this beautiful creature in my cam.

Red Cosmos

I saw this beautiful blooming cosmos flower and couldn't stop myself from taking its picture in my cam, it was very eye catchy.
