Artificial Flood..

Its been raining since a week, and the draining system in the city is very poor as i have seen so far, its like if it rains for an hour in gauhati the water level increases rapidly and its because those people who never wants to understand that throwing plastics, polybags, garbage and things which are not biodegradable in the drain will have its effect later on, it will get accumulated and later on it will clog the drainage pipelines, so many awareness programmes have been conducted in the city, but nobody is interested i don't know why, if i buy a packet of chips or anything else and after finishing it i throw it in a dustbin than i question why others can't why they throw empty packets in the streets, drains..if it would have been a question of uncivilized uneducated peoples than could have been acceptable to some extent, but its the people who are more civilized educated, why they do these things which are not at all acceptable. I guess people are lacking "common sense". At last who suffers we the people of gauhati. This picture as you can see on the right is an example and nobody can deny it. Many peoples are having problems going out to their offices, schools, shops etc, the whole transport system fails due to this, i don't know when the sense are going to come to this peoples, i could just only hope. Remember when in suffering "I" becomes "We" than why can't "We" become "I" in putting a little effort towards caring about our city.
