Mayong Pobitora Festival 2011 - Part 1

 

 

We started our trip from Guwahati, it took near about 1.30 hour to reach there, place which is know as Mayong, so when we reached Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary we first booked one vehicle to take us on a ride inside the sanctuary, vehicle charge Rs.400, Rs.20 per person, and my DSLR was charged Rs.250, after that we had a little walk to the vehicle stand from there we were driven to the sanctuary, saw the famous One Horned Rhino, lots of birds..which i will update in my upcoming blog post, and when we came back we checked these small shops which were opened there because of the festival. It was nice to these stalls the participation of the stalls were from different districts in Assam which were Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Kamrup, Morigaon, Darrang, Dhemaji etc..

Way To Two Hundred..

My journey started from Guwahati with my mom to Dhaligaon it falls in Chirang district earlier it was in Bongaigaon district via Goalpara, it is near about 200Kms and took 4.5 hours (by road) to reach there. On the way i took some pictures, couldn't take more as i was driving the car, but managed to take a few, and those are here clipped in my blog, i live in a place where there are very less trees to be seen, wherever i see there's only the buildings rising, but when i traveled through Goalpara, the view was just speechless tall trees, greenery everywhere and the road was just smooth like makkhan, i was visiting that place after a long time, so my dear all the viewers/bloggers i hope you all will like it.
