It is called Xewali phool in Assamese, its scientific name: Nyctanthes arbor-tristis and it is widely used in Assamese cuisine and it has got medicinal properties also. I hope you like these pictures. :)
It is known as the parijata flower(in sanskrit and kannada) and is said to have been brought to earth from the heavens by lord krishna. Whatever the story, the flowers are indeed heavenly, delicate and fragrant... Nice capture, looks like a floral carpet
